Pine Siskin - Carduelis pinus | ||
Snow falls thick, wet, and fluffy in Colorado's late spring. It weighs down tree limbs and electrical wires, but neither the cold, nor the silence, nor the whiteness of a fresh snow lasts for long. It is melted from both above and below by the stirrings of waking life, and the color that impatiently bursts forth. The bright pink peach blossoms and yellow of the pine siskin claim the coming season. |
